$15,000 from Ethereum (ETH)? Why is this analyst so bullish?

Ethereum Ether (ETH) is one of the leading cryptocurrency tokens currently in high demand. Tokens are currently focusing on major price spots, with some forecasting a near 200% surge to $15,000 within the following year. As the assets are already trying to violate $4,000, one analyst suggests that it could almost quadruple the current ATH of $4,891, which could soon be violated.

Tom Lee, veteran Wall Street Strategist and CEO of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, predicts that Ethereum will reach $15,000 in the medium term, highlighting some bullish metrics. Lee’s predictions are based on a model developed by his colleague Sean Farrell. This compares well-known crypto industry companies like Ethereum and Circle. Using EBITDA-based valuation multiples, Farrell estimates that the potential market value of Ethereum could result in a price of $15,000.

Additionally, analysts cite a technical analysis by Mark Newton, head of technology strategy at Fundstrat, who believes Ethereum could rise to $4,000 by the end of July. However, Lee considers this to be a short-term target only. Given the current adoption rate and rising ratings for Ethereum, he believes it will be able to reach the $10,000-15,000 range by the end of the year. Analysts also believe BTC can violate $1 million in just a few years, according to a recent interview with Squawk Box.

Today, the surge in Ethereum is coming along with an increase in capital inflows into US spot ETFs and growing interest in corporate reserves. The US crypto landscape is becoming even more friendly, with the ETF approaching approval last week, with laws in favour of crypto being passed. Furthermore, even during the surge in BTC, its advantage in the crypto market weakens, and ETH takes on a bigger chunk.

As for the specific $15,000 forecast, Ethereum only saw such an explosive movement between the 2017 ICO boom and the 2020-21 defi wave. However, increasing institutional demand and limited sales pressure cannot eliminate explosive breakouts. As more analysts raise Ethereum (ETH) forecasts, there is even more potential and hype in the assets.

In the last month alone, ETH has increased by more than 50%. If this trend continues, ETH could exceed $5,000 by August 21st. Cincodex analysts agree and will purchase Ethereum cryptocurrency by October 2025, predicting $6,000.
