WASHINGTON – 45 people were arrested in Washington on the evening of August 13th, according to FBI Director Kash Patel. President Donald Trump’s quest to fight crime in the country’s capital continues amid a federal acquisition of the city’s police department.

“The FBI and our partners have made 45 arrests. 29 immigration-related, 16 people are tied up by a surge in violent crimes and tied up with three firearm attacks,” Patel wrote in X.
