The US Secret Service has suspended six agents about a “operational failure” that led to an attempt to assassinate then-presidential candidate Donald Trump at a reelection campaign rally almost a year ago, Director Matt Quinn said in an interview with CBS News Wednesday.

Filming took place on July 13, 2024 at a campaign stop in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump yelled, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” and became his supporter before Secret Service agents rushed him off stage.
