However, a new report from Alinea Analytics shows how much we’ve all played over the last few years, so we shouldn’t count the original Elden Ring Out.
According to Alinea data, over 45% of Steam’s Elden Ring players have played the game for over 100 hours. Valve’s StoreFront accounts for around 15.7 million players in the game, making it the game’s biggest platform ahead of Xbox and PlayStation. As for the shadow of the Erdtree expansion, Alinea adds that it sells 2.4 million copies on Steam alone.
Also, these players are very dedicated to Eldenling. Arinea provides more data (via Resetera) about how many games have completed. 10.2% of Steam’s player-based player-based results have all the results, while 10.9% do the same on PlayStation. However, this is not over with almost 700,000 players on PlayStation and Steam playing the game for over 500 hours. That number will embarrass many live service games.
Arinea also compares the player retention of Eldenling with both Gate 3 and Diablo 4 of Valdur, delivering amazing results.
