Armored Core 6 It’s one of the best mech games to play and if you’re looking for an excuse to come back there, you have a chance. Six months have passed since the game’s final update, but the developers of Software have released major patches that shake things up seriously.

Whether you’re playing solo or discarding it with other human pilots, the latest update fire in Armored Core 6: Rubicon is worth your attention. The good news is that the patch version 1.09 does not buff bosses in this mecha game. However, in the name of improving the overall balance of the game, we will fine-tune some weapon parts and Mech components.

In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon Review, we called it the ultimate Mech game. Almost two years after its release, we are pleased that software and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has not forgotten it.

So what has changed? You can find the perfect patch notes here, but there is a balanced mix of nerf and buffs. For example, booster IA-C01B: Gills becomes more powerful and if you integrate the AG-E-013 YABA generator into Mech or “Core”, the fire rate will receive an additional boost. Also, if you are using the RC-2000 Spring Chicken (Armored Core 6 has the best part name), the mechanical load limit is higher than prepatch.

That’s all the excuses you need to fine-tune your mech. But what if you haven’t played Armored Core 6 at all? The game is 40% off on Steam, so now is the time to dive in. This reduces from $35.99/£29.99 and $59.99/£49.99.
