The “Quiet Sky” program has identified certain passengers for increased security screening at airports.
WASHINGTON – Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem announced on June 5 that the Road Security Agency (TSA) will be repealing a program aimed at some travelers for additional screening when boarding certain flights departing from the United States.
The “Quiet Sky” program was established by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a way to ensure that high-risk passengers who could pose security risks are searched more thoroughly before boarding a commercial aircraft.
