According to the Ukrainian forces, Moscow attacked 280 drones and missiles on Ukraine overnight in its latest attack on Saturday, launching 260 of them.

The Ukrainian military said the city of Klemanczyk in the Poltaba region was the main target of the air attack.

Volodymyr Kohut, a representative of the military regime in the Poltava region, reported that direct hits and falls have hit the energy infrastructure, damaging both private homes and apartment buildings, shattering windows, destroying frames and several cars.

Kohut said one person was injured in the attack. Rescue squads are currently working to deal with the aftermath of the artillery fire.

He added that while the area faces a massive, coordinated attack, air defense forces have been able to destroy most of the new ammunition.

Witness and victim Iryna Nosova of the attack said, “We had never had a nightmare last night. We’ve never seen anything like that. It feels like we’re being killed. That’s what it is.

“It’s not even a terrorist, the one doing it is a murderer. It’s night, there are kids. Our windows are broken so there’s a lot of glass lying on the street. It’s incredible, it felt so bad,” she added.

In Kherson, one person was injured during artillery fire as the city’s central district caused damage to the apartment building.

Local officials reported window shattering and damage to the balcony, roof and facade after the attack.

Attacks come even as we continue to fight hard. On Friday, Russia and Ukraine allegedly struck important military targets on each other’s territory.
