The Russian drone and missile attacks were killed overnight, killing at least 10 people and seven reported deaths in the capital Kiev, local officials said Monday.
The Ukrainian air force said Russia fired 352 drones and decoys overnight, and 11 ballistic missiles and five cruise missiles. The Air Force said it intercepted or clogged 339 drones and 15 missiles before reaching the target.
The drones and missiles collided with residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure in several Kiev districts early Monday, emergency services said.
The most serious damage was that part of the five-storey apartment building collapsed and emergency crews competed to find people who were believed to be trapped under the sign.
Six people have died in the district, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Ten other people, including a pregnant woman, were rescued from a nearby skyscraper that was also heavily damaged by the blast.

Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky criticized the latest attack as “completely cynical” and expressed sadness to the victims’ families.
