When you think about MOBA, I bet that only a few industry Titans come to mind. League of Legends, Dota 2, and the Heroes of Storm have dominated the genre for over a decade. The other MOBAs left, but not many had the same lasting power as the Holy Trinity. In other words, director. TheoryCraft Games’ own genre spin started last year on Steam Early Access, and the unique blend of battle arena and hero shooters is extremely popular. With nearly 18,000 reviews on Steam, there are “very positive” ratings, so you could get what you need to fight against LOL. Now, almost a year after its first release, the Director 1.0 release is finally here.
Unlike many entries on the list of the best MOBAS, TheoryCraft Games has built its director in one or more genres. The game is filled with many battle royales and hero shooter DNA, and the experience is heading towards your head. First, start by dropping it onto the map. If you’ve already been overseen since Early Access started, you’ll also get a lot of rewards. Anyone who tried the game before 1.0 wins a cartoon carrot wisp (rooty) and a champion call sign for one. However, if you’ve played for more than 40 hours, you’ll also get the original “The OG” glider and an exclusive Theory Crafter title. The director’s server will be offline for pre-release maintenance on July 17th, but if you own the Battle Pass, you’ll be adding a 200k Exp.
