From his groundbreaking work as a frontman for Black Sabbath to his hugely successful solo career, John Michael Osborne is forever synonymous with the genre he helped define. Sharon Levy, the daughter of the legendary music promoter, was born. Don ArdenSharon first met Ozzy at the age of 18 while working for his father, who was managing Black Sabbath at the time. When Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979, the two began dating, and Sharon took over the management of his solo career. They married on July 4, 1982 and continued to welcome their three children together. Amy, Kellyand Jack.

Under Sharon’s management, Ozzy reached new fame, releasing a multi-platinum album and solidifying her status as the Prince of Darkness. In the early 2000s, their families suddenly surged and became mainstream fame. OsborneThe MTV reality show premiered in March 2002. The show provided an unprecedented look within the Osborne home, captivated audiences and unleashed a new era of celebrity reality TV.

Their relationship withstanded decades of turbulence, including arrests, rehabilitation stints and many controversies. In 2016, they mostly divorced after Ozzy’s extramarital affair was revealed, but they settled later that year after counseling and recommendations. In January 2020, Ozzy revealed that Sharon had been diagnosed with a mild form of Parkinson’s disease, which he had publicly supported. She was standing by his side in February 2023 through multiple surgeries, hospitalizations and his announcements. Ozzy performed his final concert on July 5th, 2025, reunited with Black Sabbath in Birmingham for a historic farewell show.
