Roland Joffe’s ‘November 1963’ shoots with John Travolta, Robert Carlyle

Major photos are ongoing in Winnipeg, Canada November 1963a thriller directed by Roland Joff about the events surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The cast is led by John Travolta, Robert Carlisle, Dermot Mulroney and Mandy Patinkin and the film is scheduled to wrap in early August.

The script is by the epic Nicholas Celozzi of Sam Giancana, the boss of the crime organisation The Chicago costume, known for its relationship with the Kennedy family.

Kevin Dewald of Mind’s Eye Entertainment will act as a producer along with Celotze. The co-producer is Carrie Wilkins and Jean Guy Despress is the co-executive producer.

International sales are processed by K5 International. The film was produced through the participation of Manitoba Film & Music and was made possible through Creative Saskatchewan feature film and TV production grants.

Celozzi commented: “The essence of the story, the project, why we’re doing this is that it comes from Samjiankana’s brother Pepe, who was in the room with Sam for the last two days. The script is their story. To carry out the mission.”
