UK – Ireland’s box office revenue rose 3% in July 2025 in 2024, with an increase in scores over the past nine months compared to the previous year.
Revenue in July 2025 was £107.4 million, up 3% in July 2024. It returned to 1% in 2023, when the Babenheimer phenomenon encouraged the use of the drug in July.
Universal Jurassic World Revival I went for 30.3 million pounds a month ahead of the three big titles from last July Despicable Me 4 (£28.3m), Deadpool and Wolverine (£25.5m) and Inside Out 2 (16.3 million pounds).

Jurassic World Revival Now it’s the fourth highest collection title of the year. Minecraft movies (56.7 million pounds), Bridget Jones: I’m angry about the boy (£46.4m) and Lilo & Stitch (36.8 million pounds).

The July 2024 increase and the continued benefits of year-over-year are good news that was thought to be slower for exhibitors a month later.
August starts with a reboot of Paramount’s spoofing Naked gunupcoming titles including Disney FREEKY Friday (August 8th) Sony’s Celine singing director Materialist (August 13th) Universal’s Aria Star Direction Eddington (August 22) and Disney Roses Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman (August 29th).
