AMD Radeon RX 9060 The non-Xt is already passing the pace with new online reviews just a week after being quietly announced by the chip maker without fanfare. The report suggests that this entry-level graphics card is unlikely to go on to general sales, but with performance far surpassing the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, it appears to be a powerful option for budget gamers.

AMD has knocked out of the park with its current gaming GPU lineup. Cards such as the RX9060XT have already been featured in the Best Graphics Card Guide. We were totally hoping to prepare a GPU that could compete with the $249 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, but this review appears to suggest that the RX 9060 can deliver similar performance to the RTX 5060 in some games.

Korean YouTube channel Technosaurus was able to test the RX 9060 non-XT in several games. This video also explains that existing AMD drivers already support the RX 9060, so it may be included in the pipeline for some time.

Testing from Technosaurus saw how it compared to the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB, Nvidia Geforce RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 with pits. In various in-game tests such as the CyberPunk 2077, PUBG, and Black Myth Wukong, the RX 9060 was only 2% slower on average than the 1080p RTX 5060 and only 6.2% slower than the RX 9060 XT 8GB.

However, compared to the RTX 5050, the RX 9060 is 19% faster on average in frame rates in the game, which gave us a huge boost compared to its entry-level NVIDIA cards.

AMD does not disclose how to create or sell the RX 9060 non-XT. Technosaurus speculates that AMD may have recycled chips to generate the RX 9060 from the low Yield production runs of other GPUs, disabling the failed core, resulting in less production and wider releases.

However, this is one test, but the first indication shows that AMD has reasonable options for 1080p gamers who are considerate of the RX 9060 budget. The RX9060XT 8GB is already on sale for $299, but even a general release or this is beneficial, it may not be considered beneficial.

Still, if you’re thinking about picking up a budget gaming PC using an installed AMD Radeon RX 9060 graphics card in the future, these statistics show that you could handle it fairly well at 1080p. We haven’t tested it ourselves, but if we can get it, we can definitely put that pace.
