If you want to instill a fantasy RPG with great Persona combat, Metaphor: Liperment That’s what you get – and this combination really works well. It’s no surprise that it’s my favorite RPG of 2024, offering excellent characters, gorgeous worlds and fascinating stories. I highly recommend trying it. – But you should be quick as you run away as fast as a Phantom thief.
There have been some great games released this year, and newcomers like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 quickly earned spots on our best RPGS list. But if you’re looking at which series are consistently superior, then you probably have Persona and Philosopher. Lipentazio takes a stylish approach to persona’s subtle relationship system and battles, removing it from the normal modern urban environment and dropping it into a fantasy kingdom.
While the English Eucronia may sound like an idyllic fairy tale land at first, the world of metaphor is far from perfect. Instead, the story’s driving mind follows Louis, the powerful villain who assassinates the king, creating a vacuum of power to watch the citizens of Eucronia compete to seize the throne. As you can probably guess, you play as an orphan of one of your competitors, the Elda tribe.
The game has a larger political and social narrative, but also fills itself with many bold and interpersonal moments. It also uses the “archaetype” system, which is very familiar to Persona fans, and it has plenty of fun monsters and other enemies, providing powerful abilities to use against enemies.
This was one of the best PC games I’ve ever played and ended up finally before shattering for two weeks and hitting the 100-hour mark. I’m not alone in my own thoughts, as our own Aaron Down said the game was “a must-see for anyone interested in JRPGS” in his metaphor for starry Repantazio Review.
If you want to spend hours enjoying a truly amazing world, then the metaphor: Repantazio is only £32.39 on Fanatical, 46% off the regular price, which is a lot for those trying to jump into RPGs right now. It’s my favorite game of 2024 and always recommended to friends and family.
