Former Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) has launched a comeback bid to regain his seat at the Chamber of Commerce and announced the challenge for Senator John Husted (R-Ohio), who could become one of the nation’s most closely monitored races in 2026.

Brown announced his campaign in an August 18 video, saying that he had no plans to run for office again, but that he said it would not serve the Ohioans’ best interests in the development of Washington.
