The plane lands an emergency at a golf course in Sydney

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported on Monday, August 18th that the two suffered minor injuries in an emergency plane that landed on a golf course in Sydney’s Northern Beach.

The forced landing took place on Sunday during a training flight just after 2pm local time, with instructor pilots and students on board.

The Australian Transportation Safety Authority (ATSB), seeking witnesses in video of the emergency landing, confirmed that the aircraft is a Piper Cherokee. a Video provided Magda Gawin to all press shows how the plane was slapped at the Mona Vale Golf Course. ABC said there are pilots and students in their 50s on board instructors. One of them suffered minor injuries, although it is not clear at this time, the news outlet added. The ATSB said it was gathering evidence, but it is unclear whether it will conduct a formal investigation.

“I feel good from the sky”

In the Tiktok video, the witness said the plane had just fallen from the sky, but another added:

Information from the flight tracker shows that the small aircraft took off from Shell Herbul near Wollongong and stopped in Camden before continuing today’s flight.
