Escape from Tarkov first became available in 2017. Since then, it has become perhaps the most famous example of extraction shooters. This is a high tension style with FPS, including games like Hunt: Showdown, Delta Force, and Marauders. Tarkov is also a public works project that has been underway for nearly a decade. This means you can explore the majority of the game, even if your fun is always somewhat hampered by the knowledge that your creator Battlestate doesn’t think of a project as “end” yet. This is about to change with Tarkov’s 1.0 release.
Finally, I heard that there is a high chance that the escape from Tarkov 1.0 and steam release date will arrive this month. There is no specific information yet regarding when the FPS game will appear on Valve’s platform, but Battlestate has released a trailer that will reveal when an escape from the full version of Tarkov is set to arrive.
Rather than announcing the 1.0 launch date with gameplay clips and flashy outroscreens, the Battlestate trailer shows Tarkov designer Nikita Buyanov writing code on a computer monitor between live action footage of soldiers. Just before the video ends, the startup date is revealed in the programming line.
And in case it wasn’t fully confirmed, Buyanov posted to X/Twitter and posted it.15.11.2025, 1.0 release, Let’s Gooooo! ”
Escape from Tarkov will be launched to 1.0 on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. If you don’t wait, you can grab a copy here.
