In a memorandum issued on August 21, Agriculture Secretary Brook Rollins announced a new policy prioritizing land use efficiency when evaluating proposals for power generation projects on land in the National Forest System.

The memorandum represents a commitment to strengthening America’s energy production and reducing our dependence on foreign energy sources, like solar panels manufactured in foreign enemies, while protecting our land for future generations.
