Joe Rogan labels Nick Diaz as one of the best fighters ever

It is rumoured that Nick Diaz has returned to the UFC for several years, but has not stepped into the UFC octagon since September 2021.

The UFC icon enjoyed an incredible career, including his time at Strike Force, where he is a welterweight champion and boasts a streak of 11 matches.

Joe Logan, an avid fan of Nate Diaz’s older brother, spoke about the attributes that fighters need to become one of the world’s most scary MMA fighters.

Throughout his career, Diaz used his relentless aerobic exercise, negating his enemies along with world-class boxing and choking them with the octagon.

Diaz is also known for his story of garbage in battle. This featured a memorable display for Anderson Silva, where he lay on the floor and placed on a cage during the battle.

Logan talks about Nick Diaz’s career and believes the Stockton star will be turning the game into a fight with aerobics.

Logan said: “Nick Diaz changed the game from his elite cardio perspective. He did something new, and the new thing is that he’s not going to hit you with 100% power.

“But he’s going to double your strength and you’ll never breathe. He’s going to stay above you, he’ll talk to you the whole time.

“O, he’s psychologically trying to f*** with you. He’ll constantly hit you and confuse your breathing. If he notices you’re hurting, he’s digging his body and putting it on you.

“Added to that, black belt jiu-jitsu skills, really good wrestling takedown defense, iron chin and unstoppable will.

“When Nick was on the top of Strike Force, I think to this day he was one of the best fighters he’d ever been.”

In particular, it’s unlikely to see Nick Diaz fight again in the UFC after the fight against Vicente Luque was cancelled in December 2024 due to travel issues.
