Song of Silence A unique strategy proposal. It has 4x turn-based DNA along with an absolutely gorgeous art nouveau visual, all wrapped in a card system that helps you control the flow of combat. It’s a little master of magic and an incredible age, but there are plenty of updates to make you come back for more. Currently, the game’s Steam demo has been improved and expanded, and future patches look very impressive.
If you’ve never played Songs of Silence, this improved demo is the perfect excuse. Not only do you get the chapters of your first campaign, you now have access to the first scenario. The scenario starting with free update 1.1 introduces standalone maps with story arcs in the 4x game. These maps have dedicated challenges such as winning on a certain number of turns or winning when commanding a certain number of heroes, making them an ideal way to play the game by diving into the full experience.
However, not all developer demos are planned by developer chimera entertainment for Songs of Silence. Update 1.3 is scheduled for mid-April and includes the third scenario, Fates Skirmish difficulty, bug skeshing, and more. Update 1.4 is then expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2025 or in either three, with more including a fourth scenario, global generation rework, and Army inspection screen visualization.
Songs of Silence has been getting better since it was released last year. I recently visited LighteAters Faction and expanded the 1.2 update for free. Both have expanded the game significantly. Light Eaters are stuck between life and death, and many new units and combat opportunities are coming. This patch also adds another scenario, giving you more reasons to test your skills.
