Despite the box art featuring the image of a police car, it is not pursued by in-game law enforcement agencies. When driving off-road, there is no speed penalty and no gravity. This means you can run up the hill at the same speed as driving on flat ground. Turning the track around and prosecuting the course in reverse will make the game’s speed limiter fail, allowing you to accelerate indefinitely until it distorts from the map boundaries to an infinite grey lacuna.
