Juan Soto is undoubtedly the most popular player in MLB this summer, but he has yet to agree to a new contract with League Insider who refuses to report on Thanksgiving.

Juan Soto has yet to decide on the future

The whole world is seeing where Juan Soto ends in the offseason as the 26-year-old continues to search for a long-term contract that could potentially become one of the highest-paid players in MLB.

Soto spent 2023 in San Diego and with the Yankees in 2024, but after two short spells, the right fielder wants to find a place to call home forever.

The Dominican star spent five years in Washington, where he rose to fame, but he didn’t late after leaving the nation.

Soto was selected as an All-Star in each of his last four seasons, and in addition to that, he has been awarded the Silver Slugger Batter Award every year since 2020.

All of the best teams in MLB are after Soto before the 2025 season, but his options will be narrowed down to just two or three teams as the superstar is trying to become the best paid player in the league.

Rumors have been circulating this week suggesting that Soto’s race may have ended, but MLB insider Jeff Passan reports on X that the right fielder is still looking for a new team.

“I’m grateful to reporters who haven’t created the story,” he wrote. “I’m also grateful that Juan Soto hasn’t agreed to the contract, meaning I can get off Twitter and spend my vacation with my family. It’s a happy Thanksgiving.”

The Yankees are reportedly trying to secure men again in a long-term deal by throwing hats into Soto’s ring.
