It’s a good time to come back FF14 DawnTrail. Even if you feel about the divisive story of the campaign, this expansion has brought you the best combat encounters and some of the most spectacular zones MMORPG has ever seen. Now, with the launch of FF14 patch 7.2, the community feels like they are beginning to unite in support of a new story thread once again, with combat content glowing in the second tier of Arcadion’s raids. If you’ve dropped out since DawnTrail’s launch, or haven’t played it for a long time, you’ll have the chance to get 7 days of free access without a subscription.
The Final Fantasy 14 Callback Campaign is a long-term initiative from Square Enix and, of course, has been invited to return to the acclaimed MMORPG. This is especially for those who have already subscribed in the past but have had inactive accounts for at least the past 90 days. What you have to do to return them to fold as active subs is to select them from the in-game Friends list or the free company roster and click “Invite Friends”.
As long as you meet the criteria, you will receive an email allowing free play for 7 days from the first day of login. Also, returning players will be eligible for 99 Aetheryte tickets to cover fast travel costs.
Each character in a service account can send a total of five returner invitations (this allowance will be reset in 30 days, so it will be updated the next time the campaign returns). If one of your friends purchases a subscription within 90 days of returning, you can also take 5 Gold Chocobo Feathers to your calamity salvager. These can be used to purchase three different mounts, a bundle of 10 Aetheryte tickets, or five packs of rare dyes.
If you’re on the fence about coming back, it’s a great opportunity to do it. Seven days will require plenty of time to watch both the main stories of 7.1 and 7.2 and carry out the raids of the FF11 Crossover Alliance, Vanadiel’s Echo, and Arcadion’s Raids. These are absolute joys, so you should absolutely utilize your ability to try and do nothing whenever possible. We also hope that the new space exploration feature will arrive on Tuesday, April 22nd, so we may get a glimpse of that.
The FF14 Callback Campaign will be held on Friday, April 11th at 1am (ET/4am) (ET/9am) BST/10am until Friday, May 9th at 1am (ET/4am) 9am/10am/10am.
