The opening ceremony of the World Expo 2025 was held on Saturday in Osaka, Japan.

With the theme of “designing a future society for our lives,” Japan hopes to bring unity through ideas for life, the world and the future, and portray a future society.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Japanese Prime Minister Isba expressed his hope that the event will help restore global unity in a world plagued by conflict and trade wars.

“The world has overcome the coronavirus pandemic and is now threatened by a range of sectors,” Isba said.

“It makes a lot of sense for people from all over the world to come here to experience life themes, cutting-edge technologies, diverse ideas and cultures in these times.”

Approximately 1,300 people, including the Japanese emperor, attended the opening ceremony.

The futuristic exhibition will be exhibited in dozens of pavilions with unique designs. Around 180 countries, regions and organizations will be hosted within the city during the expo.

It was a huge success at Osaka’s second World Expo after the 1970 event, attracting 64 million visitors. This is the record up to Shanghai in 2010.

World Expo is a huge international event where countries from all over the world come together to showcase innovation, culture, technology and ideas for the future.

Each participating country is building its own pavilion focused on the theme of the exhibition.
