Kino Lorber acquires Sundance, Tribeca selection ‘Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore’

Kino Lorber has won US rights to Sundance, SXSW and upcoming Tribeca documentaries Marlee Matlin: Not alone anymore.

The featured directorial debut of deaf actress and filmmaker Shoshanna Stern watches the life of an Oscar-winning deaf actress through the lens of American sign language, removes traditional over-voice and includes open captions to create an immersive experience.

The film chronicles how Matlin became the first deaf to win an Academy Award for her performance in 1987 at the age of 21. Fewer children of God.
