‘Stans’, produced by Eminem, to open SXSW London

Steven Reckart’s Eminem documentary world premiere Stan Open the first edition of SXSW London. This includes keynotes from. CEO Efe Cakarel.

SXSW London will be held in East London from June 2-7th and will feature film venues such as The Barbican, Rich Mix and Curzon Hoxton. The lineup is set to include 12 world premiers and 30 UK premiers.

Stan It is described as an exploration of the relationship between artists and fan bases, and features inputs from both Eminem’s closest collaborators and fans. The film is produced by Eminem’s Shady Films, Hill District Media, Diga Studios and MTV Entertainment Studios, and will screen Paramount+ later this year in major regions, including the UK and North America.

Amazon MGM Studio’s Deep cover, Starring Blythe Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed, it will premiere the world as the festival’s “Centrepiece Headliner.” Tom Kingsley directs an action comedy about a group of amateur improvised comics caught up in London’s crime world. The screen will be turned into a screen on Prime Video on June 12th.

Additionally, the headliner screening includes the world premiere of Olivia Cappuccini Love and Anger: Munro Bergdorfa documentary about pioneering author, model and trans activist Munroe Bergdorf introduces her journey as she navigates identity, race, activism and hope.

Closing Night Film is the UK premiere of Studiocanal’s Chuck’s Lifefollowing the world premiere in Toronto. Directed by Mike Flanagan and starring Tom Hiddleston and Chuwetel Egiofort, it is based on a Stephen King novel of the same name about three chapters in a normal man’s life.

Plus, global premiers include Alaa Aaliabdallah’s Palestinian Comedy Club, It follows five Palestinian stand-up comedians who wrote and toured a stand-up comedy show and took part in last year’s Cannes Palestine documentary work-in-process showcase.

Keynotes is also planned by HBO and BBC series creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay industryartist Missang Harriman and actor Gillian Anderson.
