Toni Eldman Director Maren Ade will host the ju judge at this year’s Cannes Film Festival (May 13-24) for short films and the LA Sinev Awards.
I also participate in the ju apprentice King Richard Film director Reinaldo Marcus Greene, French actress, singer and songwriter Cameria Jodana, Spanish executive Jose Maria Prado, and Croatian film director Nebozisha Srijepcevic.
They judge 11 titles to compete for the best short films and 16 student films in the LA Sinev selection.
The short film Palme de Oa will be handed out at the festival’s closing ceremony on Saturday, May 24th. The La Sineff winner will be crowned at the ceremony at the Buñuel Theatre on Thursday in May.
The 11 short short selections consist of nine fiction and two documentary titles, directed by five women. Films were selected from 4781 submissions.
