To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Asus Graphics card, with the upcoming release of Doom the Dark Ages, Bethesda and Asus are partnering to unlock limited edition graphics cards based on Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU. When used with ROG Astral Design, this card is sold only in the Bethesda Gear Store and adds Doom Goodies.
One of the latest releases from NVIDIA, the RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards for anyone looking to maximize returns for under $1,000. The RTX 5080 review praises “incredible performance” when Multi Frame Gen, a feature exclusive to the RTX 5000 cards, is enabled.
I’m not a fan of limited edition GPU collaborations, but I have to admit that this Doom the Dark Ages card is super cool. The triple fan design is primarily in the Doom Slayer’s iconic dark green coloring, with some additional touches making the design even sweeter.
Most notably, the Doom Slayer mural at the back of the card shows a man of destiny holding a shield with a blade in one hand, holding the other shotgun, preparing to kill the hellish beast surrounding him.
The Doom Slayer Sigil will also feature rear fans and one of the forefront fans. These same fans will be added with gold trim, one that looks like a compass and the other features the “Gamer Republic” text.
The bundle, which includes the ROG Astral Gefroce RTX 5080 Doom Edition, comes with a premium edition of Doom The Dark Ages, a Slayer Sigil T-shirt, an oversized mouse pad and a copy of a yellow keycard replica.
This bundle can be ordered from PST on April 29, 2025 at 5am EST / 2am. It’s not clear how much the bundle will cost, and given how hard it has been to get the RTX 5080 recently, it’s no surprise to see these cards becoming Scalpers’ targets.
