Seven European People’s Party representatives condemned Hamas’ attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023, and refused to submit names, seeking the release of the remaining hostages at the party’s parliament held in Valencia on Wednesday.
The resolution on “the urgent need to release all hostages Hamas hosted” was one of several emergency actions on the second day of Parliament, expressed by party representatives of the Swedish Christian Democrats and Austrian people.
The resolution denounced the “demeanorous (October 7, 2023) terrorist attacks committed by terrorist group Hamas against Israel on “on the strongest possible terms,” calling for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages taken by terrorist group Hamas, and called for the return of the group of hostages that have been deceased.
The allegations were approved by Congress, but seven MEPs absent from the hand show.
The legislative process did not record the identity of representatives who voted for by lifting white slips in the dark room.
Meanwhile, the motion on “solidarity with Ukraine” surfaced by the Baltic Party and Ukrainian groups reaffirmed its resolve to “use every measure to end the offensive war of Russia’s provocative, illegal, terrorist, unfair aggression war of invasion.”
They also passed, but one representative voted against the motion, and 28 abstained.
