The British Production Guild (PGGB), a UK membership organization for those working in film and drama productions, has appointed Kaye Elliott as new CEO.

Elliot took over the post on July 16th, and took over Lindsay Ducey, who resigned in January.

The new CEO will be joining from Screenskills, where he serves as director of high-end television and oversees industry investments in skill support for UK freelancers and production companies. Prior to Screenskills, Elliott was the assistant director of Creative Ingland’s partnerships and head of production services.

“We’re committed to providing a great opportunity to help you,” said Michael Beavan, PGGB’s assistant CEO. “Vision Kaye brings it to help new CEOs shape the continued growth and development of PGGB and help them balance a healthy balance between the key role HETV plays in future production environments and film roots.”

PGGB Chairman Bianca Gavin added: “Kay’s strong commitment to advocating for the talents of the UK industry is perfectly in line with our mission and spirit, and we are excited to see her bring the organization into the future.”

Commenting on her new role, Elliott said: “I am excited to bring passion for the industry and work with the team and the board to grow our members, influence policy and ultimately strengthen the UK’s global production leadership based on the strong foundation of the guild.”
