The Philadelphia Eagles have won the Super Bowl this past season. Second in the last eight years. Philadelphia is a well-run soccer team, from front offices to training staff.

The success of the team in recent years has forced the Eagles to sign top players into long-term deals. These include Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and Lane Johnson. There was speculation this offseason that Philadelphia could trade veteran Te Dallas Gaedart. However, the 30-year-old restructured his contract to stay in Philadelphia in 2025.

Dallas Gaedart received a $4 million salary cut to stay with the Eagles in 2025

ESPN’s Field Yates reported that the Eagles and Dallas Gaedart have redo their contracts for the 2025 season. Instead of making $14 in base salary, Goedert makes $10 million. He has the opportunity to add a million dollar incentive. The 30-year-old finished his seventh professional season in Philadelphia.

Dallas Gaedart was the Eagles’ second pick in the 2018 NFL Draft for South Dakota. He has played in 93 career games and has started 76 with the Eagles. Goedert is a full-time starter starting in the sixth week of the 2021 season. His most productive season in Philadelphia was in 2021, a career-high 830 receiving yards. Additionally, he received 56 catches and four touchdowns.

Injuries from the past three seasons have prevented Goedert from reaching his full potential with the Eagles. He missed at least three or more games in 2022, 2023 and 2024. This offseason marked the buzz this offseason, with the Eagles swapping the Dallas Gaedart. However, the one-time Super Bowl champion restructured his contract for his stay with Philadelphia. The Eagles had a tight budget for 2025, and Gaedart was potentially on the chopping block. His reworked deal for $10 million in 2025 is fully guaranteed.
