Darren Till began his ideal fight in the sport of boxing, identifying Jake Paul as a possible opponent before returning to the UFC.

Darren Till hopes to fight Jake Paul before making a comeback to the UFC

The former UFC star has turned his attention to the sport of boxing and is preparing for his second match under boxing promotion “Misfits” after aiming to become one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time.

In July 2024, Britt played in his first boxing match, defeating Mohammad Muty via his first round TKO at the exhibition, kickstarting his run in the sport.

Then in January this year he was going to face his younger brother Tommy Fury and heavyweight icon Tyson Fury, but after Till said he would kick his opponent, Fury decided to get out of the match.

Instead, he fought Anthony Taylor under Masfit Boxing Promotion, took a job in demolition, and after punishment he knocked out Taylor in the sixth round.

The two will face off on Misfits 21 on May 16th, and Liverpudlian is already planning his next match, so they will face another former UFC fighter from Darren Stewart.

Until you say (Through the bloody elbow): “I want to fight Jake and KSI. Those are big money fights. I love the fight with Tommy after what he did and I think it’s Mike Perry’s fight.”

Jake Paul is scheduled to compete against Julio Chavez Jr. on June 28th. The social media star continues his pioneering run in boxing, with Paul falling behind the record-breaking battle with Mike Tyson.

In contrast, British YouTube star KSI has not entered the boxing ring since his defeat to Tommy Fury in October 2023 and was forced to withdraw from a scheduled match against Dillon Danis due to injuries.

Tommy Fury recently fought the relatively unknown Kenan Hanjarik and highlighted that the lack of interest in the match was his battle with Jake Paul, Darren Till and KSI as his biggest payday chance.

Darren also pointed out a return to MMA with some ability after fighting the biggest name of “influencer boxing” and suggested that he return to the UFC or join the PFL.

Until you say (via Bloody Elbow) “I might try my hand in the PFL. Or, if the UFC comes back to me, let’s see what happens. I’m not too old in sports.

“I don’t feel like there’s a case of that CTE. I pronounce my words properly. I have a solid brain for myself, even though I know I sometimes say crazy things.”

Fighting at both welterweight and middleweight during his time in the UFC is unlikely to return to 170 pounds, given his last two boxing matches are above 190 pounds.
