Exclusive: Vision Distribution is on board for international sales of new films by Italian director Gianni Zanasi. Seven creates heaven (This is what it turned out).
The film stars Michele Liondino (The Earl of Monte Cristo), Valerio Mastandrea (The perfect stranger), Valentina lodovini (When mom is not there) and the people of Leonardo (Rose Islandd). It is written by Zanasi, who is directed by Cannes and whose films are being performed at the Venice Film Festival, along with Michele Pellegrini and Giacomo Ciarapico.
Seven creates heaven The heart of Cecilia, played by Valentina Lodovini, the determined, passionate mother of the two whose three relationships fail behind her. In the face of a sudden crisis, she turns to her exes for help: her first great love and her eldest son’s father, Christophe (Valerio Mastandrea), is a theatrical director who lives in the memories of his illustrious career. The father of his second child, Guido (Leonardo Lidi), is a former promising manager who has decided to turn his life around by becoming a delivery rider. And finally, Tony (Michele Liondino), a self-proclaimed music manager and the only music manager who actually married her, only leaves her for someone else.
This strange, dysfunctional “expanded” family finds themselves living under the same roof and attempts a plan that is unlikely to save the situation.
Filming will take place in Rome, Tuscania and Tassia regions from June 23rd to August 8th.
Filming was done by Vladan Radovic, with production designers by Tonino Zera, costume designers by Olivia Bellini, Sound Mixer by Fabio conca, and casting by Marco Matteo Donat-cattin and Federica Baglioni. The executive producer is Massimo Monachini.
The film is a production company of Pupkin Productions, Paco Cinematografica and Vision Distribution, Neo Art Productions SL is a co-producer in Spain, and AB Film Shpk is a co-producer in Albania.
Both Italian and international distributions are handled by vision distributions.
Zanasi’s directorial debut In a fight (1995) performed in two weeks as director of Cannes. In 1999 he directed Outside of me and Until tomorrowThe latter competes at the Venice Film Festival.
