2024 was full of new survival experiences. enshrouded It emerged as one of the best. Part-time survival games, some fantasy RPGs, which may still be in early access technically, but have come out with a rather large update at an impressive pace. That sixth major update is currently registered and not only adds great new features and mechanics, but also brings a lot of eerie, horror game-style vibes.
Not only the title, but the throar of Twilight gives us a sense that a dark fantasy theme is taking place here. Enshrouded has changed the look and feel of the survival game with freaking new enemy types, more nighttime gameplay mechanics, new customization options, and dense atmospheric fog that brings smiles to the faces of silent hilf fans.
There are six new enemies you will face in the Twilight slal – some are modified versions of existing enemies, while others are completely new. For example, Depthdweller is a huge floating creature similar to a jellyfish that fires a small version at you. They are huge creepy, but the environment they roam around looks even more creepy. That’s largely thanks to the visual overhaul that took place in the shroud itself. It is a corrupt mist that curses the land of Enshud. It’s now much thicker and more challenging to explore, and new lighting techniques will see “esque yet gorgeous rays of God” sweep through the fog and add to the atmosphere.
As this update focuses on the darkness, overhauls are also given to nighttime gameplay. The first thing you notice is that there are now more enemies patrolling at night, and they’re probably purifying some very unusual booty and resources you’d like to beat them. Special plant types that only appear at night are also added, giving you another reason to adventure when the sun sets. There are also new night temples in every part of Enshrouded. This can only be accessed at night and can include advantageous rewards. However, if you want to grab a product, it will be filled with traps that you need to navigate skillfully.
When it comes to combat and survival, things are even more fleshed out. New resources can now be found in the shroud. Shroud allows you to create new items such as confusing hand renades and mobile repair kits, and create new items to secure weapons while on the field.
On the weapons side of things, the new gems system also offers another way to power the gear. Jewels that fall from high-level enemies contain buffs and effects that can enhance weapons. The high-rise weapons you get will have the opportunity to roll in gem slots that will socket these new stones. However, it can only be done with forging gems, and you will find these new locations hidden deep within the shroud.
Elsewhere, the character’s hairstyle can be changed thanks to the new barber Elio. You will need to unlock Elio and complete a dedicated quest line to take him to your residence, but once he is always on hand to get fresh trim for you. Another new feature is the armor tint. This allows you to customize the colorway of your armor piece. You can find a color palette. The color palette can be applied to armor items on the new workstation on the base.

There are many other improvements and fixes in this update, and you can check out the full patch notes here, but that’s a really big overview. Enshrouded’s Twilight Update slal is currently live for all players.
