Exclusive: German sales costume playmaker Munich sold a biopic of Marcus O. Rosenmuller Münter & Kandinsky – Blue Rider To Bulgaria (Beta Film), CIS (Voxell Rocket), Italy (PFA Film), Latin America (Encripta), and Spain (Twelve Oaks).
The film tells the story of artists Gabriele Munter and Wassily Kandinsky.th century. While Kandinsky’s reputation is surged, Münter feels it’s becoming increasingly difficult to deal with life on his part. Their relationships become increasingly complicated and destructive. The script was written by Alice Branagh.
The film was produced by CCC Cinema, TV and MZ-Film. Co-produced with CCC FilmKunst, Pamy Mediaproductions and Gretchenfilm Film productions.
Camino Filmverleih handled the German release.
Vanessa Loibl stars as Münter alongside Vladimir Burlakov’s Kandinsky.
