The New England Patriots are favoured to win 11 games in the 2025 NFL season. This is in stark contrast to the incredible zero of 2024.

Vegas is preparing for a significantly improved year at Foxborough following the expected disappointing campaign in 2024, winning just four of the 17.

Jerod Mayo was shown the door after his first year as head coach, leading the craft and appointed Mike Vlabelle in place of the Tennessee Titans, who previously won three Super Bowls as a player in New England.

One of the lights that shined throughout the season was rookie quarterback Drake Maymei. He was selected as the third overall pick in the draft.

May, a pro bowler in his debut year, threw for 2,276 yards and 15 touchdowns in just 13 games.

That rushing production simply unscrambled, showed exceptional agility and balance in the pockets to extend play and burned defenses.

Standing 6 feet 4 inches with his arm cannon along the stats to match the league’s best dual threat quarterback, everything points to Maye as the ultimate franchise cornerstone.

The Patriots have enjoyed a promising offseason so far, adding Stefon Diggs to their thin wide receiver room in a three-year, $69 million deal.

New England got a chance with the DIGGS after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in Week 8 with the Houston Texans last year, but the 31-year-old is widely regarded as one of the NFL’s elite wideouts, and before dropping off, he finished seventh in the league (47) and received 496 yards.

Continuing that pace, the Diggs finished with a century catch at 1,054 yards, and Maye got a proven WR1 on a roster that was supposed to bring the team’s offense to abundance.

On the other side of the ball, the Patriot signed Milton Williams on a defensive tackle into a four-year, $104 million deal. With a Philadelphia Eagles and Super Bowl victory, Williams established himself as one of the best in his position in 2024 with five bags and 10 quarterback hits on top-ranked defense.

Williams joined Christian Barmore with a defensive tackle that shortened the 2024 season due to a recurrence of blood clots. Barmore signed a four-year, $92 million contract extension after making an impression in 2023 with 64 tackles, 8.5 bags and a forced fumble.

New England also strengthened in the linebacker division, introducing defensive coordinator Terrell Williams for Vrabel and Patriots and Harold Landry III, who played for former Las Vegas raider Robert Spillane along with the Titans from 2018 to 2023.

Spillane had two years of success in Nevada, always starting all games, starting a total of 173 tackles with 5.5 sacks. Vrabel is known to hang coaching hats on the defensive side, and patriots should be a force to be considered in that regard.

The cornerback room will also be upgraded alongside Carlton Davis III, partnering with one of the NFL’s most promising young talents at Christian Gonzalez, providing the Patriot with top-level male coverage in the backfield.

Vrabel dealt with a gap hole in the draft’s offensive tackle, selecting LSU’s Will Campbell on the fourth overall pick and signed Morgan Moses a three-year free agency contract.

The Patriots also drafted explosive playmaker Trevion Henderson in the second round of Ohio State, who entered the scene as a freshman in 2021, with 1,248 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, 312 yards and four touchdowns.

After battling injuries over the next few years, Henderson stylishly rebounded last season with 7.1 yards per 1,016 yards, 10 touchdowns on the ground and 284 receiving yards and touchdowns.

The double punches of Henderson and existing running back Rhamondre Stevenson, a 1,000-yard threat in 2022, were able to lift the Patriot attack to new heights.

Considering the regular season victory Patriot line is 8.5, and is preferred at 11 o’clock, it may be worth taking the odds here.

New England has the third strongest Acing schedule based on last season’s record. If the team can make some more improvements before the transaction deadline, the postseason verse will look very good on the cards.

They play nine at Gillette Stadium and have 15 out of 17 outings in the Eastern Timezone as they don’t have a game west of New Orleans. Only five teams are predicted to fly fewer miles than Patriots.

Things are generously thrilled for the first year Vrabel will be in charge of with the team, and one of the NFL’s most promising projects needs to fully explain themselves in 2025.
