The president said the new “Golden Dome” missile defense network should be operated before the end of his term.
The Pentagon has chosen to design President Donald Trump’s Golden Dome Missile Defense Initiative, Trump announced on May 20.
“We are pleased to announce that we have officially selected the architecture for this cutting-edge system, which deploys next-generation technology across land, sea and space, including space-based sensors and interceptors,” Trump told White House reporters.
