A24 Executive Rose Garnet and Palme d’Or winner Kenroach is Edinburgh International Film Festival The industry programme will be held from August 15th to 20th.
Garnett, formerly the director of BBC Film and head of creative head at Film4, will speak as part of the Unified Series, a partnership between Eiff, Amy Jackson and Lauren Dark’s early production companies.
Additional executives speaking throughout the programme are BBC Film Director Eva Yates and interim Film4 Director Farhana Bhula.
Filmmakers participating in the “Conversation” event include Loach along with longtime partner, writer Paul Leberty and producer Rebecca O’Brien. 28 years later: Kozoku Temple and Candyman Directed by Nia Dacosta. Eva Victor, Director and Star of the Opening Night Film Sorry, babyalongside film producer Adele Romanski. And filmmaker and documentary Kevin McDonald will give a keynote speech with his brothers. 28 Franchise producer and EIFF Chair Andrew McDonald;
There will also be talks between producer Jeremy Thomas and film director Mark Cousins. Producers Andy Stark and Ben Wheatley. bird Directed by Andrea Arnold. and Past life and Materialist Producer David Hinojosa.
Animation Scotland and animated women UK are taking part in a panel on Scottish animation opportunities.
The industry programme will be held at the Festival Hub at Tall Cross Central Hall.
