Davis and James are reportedly speaking up about their ideas surrounding the Lakers, who will add players to help compete in the NBA Championship.

Despite winning the Celtics’ 117-96 victory, the Lakers are 24-18, only 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.

LeBron James has also spoken out in a recent post-game interview, claiming that after his defeat to the LA Clippers, he needs to be “perfect.”

James said: “We have to play the perfect basketball.”

The Lakers’ final title victory came in 2020. Davis believes he came for the “perfect” team, which is a structure that makes use of that size.

Davis said: “We know it worked when we won the championships with Javale (McGee) and Dwight (Howard) at the age of five.

Despite this, Davis believed that the Lakers needed some small additions to lead them to another title in 2025.
