Appeals Court Allows Trump Administration to Fire USIP Board Members

According to the June 27th order, the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a lower court decision that prevented the Trump administration from restructuring leadership at the Peace Institute (USIP).
The issue stems from a February 19 executive order from President Donald Trump, which declares USIP “necessary” and calls for its activities to be “excluded to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law.”
