Appeals Court Upholds Nationwide Ban on Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Order

The July 23rd federal court of appeals ruled that President Donald Trump’s executive order was unconstitutional to end citizenship and approved an earlier low-court decision that blocked the enforcement of the order nationwide.

A three-judge panel from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted two to one vote in favor of supporting the district court’s decision.
