Exclusive: Lightdox, a Swiss- and France-based sales company, has won the global rights of Robin Hanzinger Ice Tombahead of this month’s world premiere at Dok.Fest Munich.
Ice Tomb We investigate the mysterious chapters of Arctic Exploration. In 1897, three men embarked on a trip to the Arctic with hydrogen balloons. They disappeared and were not found until 1930 when fully preserved artefacts, personal magazines and undeveloped photo films were discovered on a remote island in Kubitoya.
The film was produced by Cedric Bonin of Sepia in France and is co-produced with Malcolm Dixelier of Swedish Dixit International and Carl Emil Liquorsden in Norwegian media. The film is a collaboration between Arte France and Svt.
It will premiere on Saturday, May 10th at Dok.Fest of the Strangers than the Fiction Competition.
Anna Berthollet, founder and CEO of Lightdox, described the film as “reviving cinematic sance, past voices, faces and dreams with unforgettable elegance.”
French filmmaker Hunzinger has been creating feature documentaries for over 20 years, including 2021. Ultraviolette and blood spitters gangLight Dox is also available for sale.
