A realistic FPS game should be tough, slow-paced and punish you right away. Escape from Tarkov is one of the purest examples, where a single bullet can end your assault and sacrifice a bag of hard-earned precious gear. It’s a thrilling dynamic, but inaccessible and potentially off-eat compared to the powers of the battlefield and delta. Fans of many mainstream shooters are turned away by a surreal learning curve, meaning they are stuck in the limited appeal of games such as EFT and the Wars of the Grey Zone. Arena Breakout Infinite Season 2 has made major changes to Morehun’s FPS. Combined, they do a little less punishment and intimidating game, but the tokens threaten to undermine their original identity.
The Arena Breakout Infinite Season 2 was called the Crimson Edge and arrived on Thursday, July 10th. Although the steam version of the free PC game has not yet been released, the ABI has gained considerable traction and is now competing for the Tarkov throne alongside the war in the Grey Zone and the lesser-known Invasion Red River. Still not ready for the best FPS game Pantheon, but Arena Breakout Infinite shows promise. However, season 2 can get out of balance.
The most important change is the new popular storage storage system. If you meet certain criteria during your mission, you can protect the most valuable gear you find and unlock special boxes that will be sent back to permanent storage. There’s no need to survive the entire attack. Even if you die, you still hold everything you put in the box. It makes the ABI a little more tolerant and potentially irritating, but it also goes against the uncompromising difficulties and all gameplay that are part of its trademark.
Similarly, there are newer Ping systems, such as Call of Duty and Battlefield. You can press the key to send location markers to everyone on your team. Again, it’s a useful concession to ease of use, but it veils the foundations that ABI has so far known. Yes, if you’re on a random team and don’t have voice communication, that would help. But it also streamlines analog navigation and communication, which are fundamental to the arena breakout experience.
The farm map has been expanded and the artificial lake has additional cover points that are useful. This is definitely a welcome change. Previously, if players gained a good vantage point between the graveyard and the south loading area, they were able to control almost the entire map. Adding more dirt to the lake (a wider back route to the cemetery itself) balances the farm.
There is also a new village to the southeast and a farmhouse in Wheatfield. But beware of Hectate, the new boss of Arena Breakout Infinite. She has a customized MPX and a lightweight chest plate so if you feel ready, she’s worth heading down.
Duos mode is coming this season, and Solo Ops has upgrades. These are permanent fixtures and can be played at the difficulty of a prohibited zone. Another new event mode, Arsenal Shuffle, feels more in the casual side and isn’t different from Tara’s arms race. Every time you kill, your current weapon will be exchanged for another random gun from the ABI Armory. Speaking of guns, new weapons from the Arena Breakout Infinite are the Aug Assault Rifle, MK14 Battle Rifle, PCC9 SMG, ML Lever Action Rifle, the iconic G3, SG550 Assault Rifle, and the T79 Submachine Gun.
You need to see if a new season of Arena Breakout Infinite is pushing it too much from its realistic roots, or find the right balance between punishment and playable things.
