Wheeling, W. Va. —Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) launched a three-day four-event campaign on August 8th, bringing the message of working class empowerment to Mountain State, ralliving grassroots support against the interests of both parties.
A capacity crowd of about 2,500 people was found to hear four-term senators and two-time Democratic presidential candidates at the city’s historic Capitol.
