Blizzard’s acclaimed MMORPG hides a lot of useful data it collects, and picking up mods that offer peeking behind the curtain can be a literal game changer when playing against a deadly boss. Of course, the best World of Warcraft add-ons aren’t just aimed at the enthusiastic Raiders. Some focus on usefulness and freshness in MMO elderly UI, while others help track material nodes for those important occupations.
With so many options it’s hard to know which WOW add-ons are worth your time. We dig deeper and tracked the best bunch for general purpose use in one of the best PC games of all time. Each add-on makes your World of Warcraft experience much more comfortable, whether you’re an assailant, merchant or simply craving a quick level up.

ELVUI
One of the most popular all-in-one add-on collections, Elvui has achieved unique status as one of the best WOW add-ons. It offers a sophisticated update throughout the default WOW user interface, embodying many of the most popular improvements in spell placement, inventory views, portraits, and basic utilities. It automatically configures the display based on roles and provides simple options for changing configuration, moving windows, binding keys, and many other fine tweaks in the display and features.
Text windows are useful between chat channels, loot and other screen scrolling information. These small configurable status displays at the bottom of the Windows and minimap show everything from what durability is to how many free bag spaces you have, from all the resources to what you’re left of. It also offers one-click access to your bags, guilds, or friends list. This will definitely be even more valuable after the introduction of the WOW Crossfaction Guild.
Elvui is updated frequently and frequently. Unlike most WOW add-ons, this package cannot be added to the Curse client. Instead, you need to update it individually. There are paid clients that do that automatically, but the Elvui collection can be installed manually for free.

If you are a beginner, you may consider using Tellmewhen. This is probably the simplest, but still a fully functional version of these mods. For everyone else, it’s a weak aura that can be relied on. Creating new notifications using templates is relatively easy, but the reason for using this in other mods is the vast array of pre-built notifications, trackers, and simple quality of life doodudads already built by others.
Do you want something to convey to you something that will convey in uncertain terms what your “declaration” from Queen Azshara is in the eternal palace? Something that your party member’s interrupt ability tracks when they’re cooled down in a 5-person dungeon? Something to tell your party what myths and dungeon keys so that everyone can decide where you want to go? There is a lot of damage and healing counter there, but details! It’s our favorite with its flexible display, intuitive handling like pet damage, and lightweight installation. This mod allows you to track damage or healing powers (including shield-like absorption) based on cast spells and their abilities, how they collide with opponents, and how they compare against groups.
I especially like the ability to get a quick glance at what individual players are casting and why they’re doing a bigger number than you. You can easily see segments such as single boss battles and totals of the entire dungeon.
GTFO
This simple WOW add-on does one thing. A lifesaver for busy boss fights, GTFO will sound a warning tone when you run into a fierce alarm when you stand on fire and a single ability that you could avoid.
It’s simple and lightweight, and makes the group look very smart. This is primarily an audio add-on (integration with weak or power aura classics allows for visual warnings). However, when you look at the screenshot above, standing on a green gank, you can imagine the alarm ringing.
Auctioner
There’s a lot of money to earn through the WOW auction house. If you know what you’re doing. The auctioneer goes in some way to streamline the process. This add-on from WOW effectively evaluates items, offers intelligent prices to sell products, and allows you to easily undercut others at auction houses.

Each item is assigned a different color depending on the quality of the item, and there is also an intelligent search engine. This means you can see at a glance what’s going on in your bag, and it’s easy to organize it.
Going a step further, the WoW add-on shows what every character has, from the amount of gold they own, to when a particular item is replicated across multiple characters. If you are trying to move your property from your main to your ALT, it is a great way to keep everything up.

You don’t need to question whether you are making progress anymore, as you are properly considering your opportunities through statistical analysis. Basically, it keeps you in your senses.
Due to changes in the way Warcraft handles looting, Rarity is insufficient to track items that drop from mobs that enter groups or drop nothing. When they drop the money, you’ll get the right count. Otherwise, the “attempt” will not be registered. Still, it’s a handy tool.

moveanything offers a fully customizable user interface that you can do what you say with tin and operate to your liking. Not only can you move all panels and screen elements, but you can also rescale and hidden ones. There is also an option to adjust transparency. If you’re biased towards abundance of removal of UI, Moveanything is essential for consistently organizing your layout and removing any messy things.
Mobile
The World of Warcraft maps are pretty good at showing where you need to go, but they are not perfect. Handy notes fill the important gap in the form of adding notes as you progress. Quickly right-right-click on the world map to enter what you need to remember. More importantly, with the published handheld collection, you can track everything from the locations of the treasure chests of Azeroth to the locations of rare creatures of Natsujatar and Mecagon (and whether you killed them or not).

Rarescanner also adds icons to everything unusual that it discovers, and displays additional information in tooltips.
Bug grabber/Bug sack
If you’re an amazing add-on devil, you could have come across a scary Lua error popup. Typically, this error occurs when one of the add-ons requires an update, and often appears at the most inappropriate moment. Buggrabber and Bugsack work together before these Lua popups occur to create a bug report that catches these Lua popups and passes them on to your favorite WOW add-on creators. The more add-ons you have installed, the more likely you will encounter a bug, so if you don’t have to deal with the nasty pop-ups while you’re in the cusp of a Raid Wipe, these two are worth picking up.
Plate Name Plate
Plater Nameplates is the opening tool for World of Warcraft. With the game’s default UI, it’s just the enemy health bar. However, slap the plaiter name plate gives you access to the world of information, including debuff tracking, enemy cast bars and more. This is very important if you are screaming in M+ or looking to make your own name in an assault group. Because it helps you complete timing and better understand AI’s behavior. You can also color code the plate. This is great if you need to quickly mark priorities in a pull for your own reference.
Immerse yourself
Immersion is an amazing add-on ideal for players who find it difficult to analyze constant barriers of text that appear when incorporating quests or picking up lore. Many other character UI quality of life improvements are also bundled, including comparing gear, analyzing them through different NPCs of dedicated audiences, and cleaner ways to take gang and group selfies.

Hekiri is a great and incredible add-on that bridges the gap between convenience and accessibility. This priority helper provides real-time recommendations for the next ability to use regardless of the situation, allowing you to understand class rotation and manage tough encounters. It’s an ideal amazing add-on for players who prefer to sit and relax at the end of a long day. Hekili comes with many settings and customization features to suit your needs, from UI styles to “action packs” with specific classes of specifications. If you want to experience war in the unthreatening freedom of overwhelmed, Hekiri has your back.
Creek
Creek is one for audience macro lovers, allowing you to bind spells and macros to mouse and keyboard combinations, and you can bind “click cast” or “hovercast” via unit frames and other in-game elements. The value you get from this WOW add-on is directly correlated with how much you put into it. Healers and raid response spellcasters get the most out of this add-on, but creeks are guaranteed to reduce reaction times for all classes.
raider.io
Raider.io is a companion add-on that comes with popular Raid ranking sites with the same name. Naturally, the benefits will only be shown if you are a dedicated raider.io user, but if you are, it is worth installing. Instead of switching tabs to infinitely and looking at the progression and mythical scores of other players’ attacks, you can see all of its information in the in-game name panel. This allows you to spend less time on your web browser and increase your raid time.
scrap
You like to pack your inventory in junk, but don’t like the painstaking process of selling it all? Scrap is a lightweight, amazing add-on that automatically sells all your junk items every time you talk to a merchant, and there is an optional junk filter that identifies other non-gray items that you normally sell. This lightweight, amazing add-on leaves you with an empty bag and fresh gear at the click of a button.
pawn
Are you tired of doing infinite mathematical calculations to decide whether to replace your equipment with the latest gear in your bag? There is no need to give up and equip old items. The pawn is here to ensure that the gearscore is always in the shape of a tip top. This lightweight WOW add-on helps you see how you can benefit a particular class and specification by easily distinguishing items, performing all of those calculations, and spitting out values into the window pane of each item.
Pawn comes with a wide range of optional sites for importing custom statistics weights and tracking multiple specifications at once when you switch builds to regular. Unfortunately, the latest WOW updates disable the green arrows in Pawn’s signatures, but author Travisspomer guarantees they can be reclaimed with their favorite bag add-ons.
Altoholic
If you have a lot of ALT characters and continue to track them, salvation has arrived in the form of Altoholics. This f-alt-less add-on matches all the data points needed for each character and easily displays them in a UI that is compatible with each other. Whether Altholic offers products or want to see how Alts is crunching or what they have hidden.
Op
The messy action bar is an absolute nightmare to navigate, and the messy UI can do more than hurt your immersion. Opie offers a rather smooth solution, giving you the ability to stack bindings into action rings. An action ring that appears on the screen only when the keybind is pressed. It may take some time to get used to, but the drag and release element of choosing what to use in each ring is really smooth when reducing muscle memory.
rclootcountcil
Looting after an attack can often be a controversial moment for any guild. The booty council system certainly has its advantages and disadvantages, but at least with rclootcouncil, it doesn’t take you age to split your goods. Based on the need/greed/pass system, Rclootcouncil sends all the booty to the master router (usually the group leader) and opens the session. Once the Gear candidate has been selected, council members can make enforcement decisions about who gets what. Simple.
