Do you remember Rambo? A film about John Rambeau, a man hunted by the power of the forest police? Well, I take the same premise that your beast takes the same as that, but it puts you in the shoes of Alfonse Harding, a retired secret agent. Harding was called for the final mission by the Covert Operations initiative, but by refusing the mission, he moved a guerrilla war against his old employer.
In this short but sweet, fast-paced shooter there are 20 missions designed to be completed in the shortest possible time. It has several weapons, including assault rifles, snipers and bear traps. If you can keep it, you can use it to eliminate someone. In some cases, they only have fists, forcing them to use enemy tools, and wipe out survivors before they ask for backup. The fate of the dark ages
If you haven’t noticed it yet, the Doom series is It’s really good. Crysis’ campaigns are largely preserved today, but there are some parts where aliens are introduced, where aliens are beginning to get a little volatile. That being said, the entire game is filled with epic set pieces, and is a graphical showcase depending on the type of machine you are using. The remastered version may miss some of the original features, but it makes up for it with Ray Tracing, DLSS, and HDR.
Trepang2
2023 has been a great year for the game. There were some big names that we all still talk about. Among them are multiple shooters that remain tragically still under the radar, such as Trepang 2, which listed one of my favourite games of 2023.
One of the best things about Trepang2 is the audio design. The shooter should pack and punch when making sounds, shot sounds, reloads, environments, and Trepang2 clearly in quality. In fact, our resident FPS expert Ed Smith describes the effects of every fight in Trepang2 as “sighing, shaking, and feeling like he survived the end of the world.” If that’s not enough to make you want to try it, we don’t know what to do.
Robocop
Video games have something special that offers you the ability to realize your wildest fantasies. On this list you will find games that you can play as a super soldier or scientist, but this is the only game that puts you in the shoes of RoboCop (aka RoboCop) executive Alex James Murphy. After a horrific accident that killed most men, Murphy was backed up and recreated to become the world’s most dangerous cop.
As RoboCop reviews have established, this game is not supposed to be difficult. It should feel like an unstoppable monster whose only job is to stop crime. Whether you place a parking ticket in your car or kill a wave of drug-control enemies, RoboCop can really do it all. I’m not saying that Robocop is the next half-life, but if you want to turn off your brain and blow up criminals, you won’t find anything better. The new standalone RoboCop DLC adds even more amazing action to the game.
Ghostrunner 2
Well, you technically don’t shoot anyone on Ghostrunner 2, but you’re just as good in our book. Setting a cyberpunk future where society is broken, you play as a cyberninja ready to stop an AI cult that threatens to wipe out humanity as you know.
Equipped with a katana and sometimes bike, everything you need to drive a neon-immersed environment is set up, slice and dice the robot enemies. Ghostrunner 2 does all the great sequels by improving its predecessor in almost every way. Neon white
Pulled out of hell, you play as neon white. Neon White is a demon in red shots who have to compete with other demonic killers to assassinate countless demons in heaven. In addition to running through clouds, it also uses the card system to attack or perform elaborate special moves, such as stomping on enemies, jumping onto platforms, or running through the air.
These soul cards can be collected throughout the exploration of levels or by defeating demons, and can help you win. Super hot
Super Hot feels unstoppable and can crush incoming enemies into small red shards with a single bullet. With this indie mash hit, players have to go through a wave of enemies that can quickly take you out, but you can do the same to them. This may sound unfair, but there is a time advantage on your side. In Super Hot, time only moves when it moves, giving you enough time to think to plan your next move.
Some action sequences from Super Hot are lifted directly from the film, allowing you to survive the fantasy of wiping out the waves of enemies that want to stop you in the track. With a mysterious yet somewhat confusing story mode and plenty of post-game content, this unique puzzle/shooting hybrid is worth playing if you miss it when it was released in 2016.
The Siege of the Rainbow Six
Thanks to continued support from Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege is almost completely unrecognizable from the so-called shooter game that emerged in 2015 with cries rather than banging.
Every moment in the siege box-in-battle will be from the moment you start scouting the area with the drone to finding enemies before you find a hostage – from trying to save the day by shooting the wall and breaking the ceiling. Its asymmetric multiplayer and tactical openness means that two rounds will not play in the same way.
It’s just as psychological as it is a series of shootouts. A game about manipulation and control when trying to keep your team working together, while trying to make your enemies react in a specific way. You never feel safe: Attacks can come from anywhere, usually anywhere, at once. After all these years of feeling safe behind the wall, Siege’s destructible environment will think with your feet and not trust the wall.
Siege has a relatively high barrier to entry, but the Starter Edition of Rainbow Six Siege doesn’t allow players to jump into the contest cheaply. For those who take you to Rainbow’s punishment gameplay, we can guarantee that Ubisoft Montreal’s shooter is here to stay in new seasons and content at all times.
Escape from Tarkov
Countless FPS games promote their realism, but when it comes to guns, attachment and ballistic modeling, none approaches the obsessive attention to detail paid by escape from Tarkov’s development team. Not only can you find over 60 guns in your escape from Tarkov, but you can also modify or peel each one, to the point that you can’t recognize from your pre-made counterparts. Replace barrels, mounts, scopes, flashlights, front grips, pistol grips, hand guards, muzzle attachments, stocks, charging handles, magazines, receivers, gas blocks, and choose from several types of rounds for each ammo type. The two weapons you think are afraid of are never the same.
This leads to many malfunctions for new players and those who don’t know much about guns. However, after being packed with stocks full of useless rubles and useless attachments, you quickly find a way to fit each attachment, then eventually form an emotional bond with your custom build. That last part is especially important, like the escape from Tarkov. If you die in an attack and the enemy plunders your body, you will lose everything you brought with you.
Escave from Tarkov stands out from other FPS and multiplayer games because it seamlessly mixes PVP and PVE. All RAIDs will deploy on a large map, where players will lay eggs around the edge and usually spawn at key points where good loot is found. From the start of the match, you can kill, loot and make it to one of the designated extraction points for up to 40 minutes. If you die, you will get pre-insured gear. The extraction point is always on the other side of the map where you appeared, so it’s virtually unprecedented to make it through an assault without encountering an enemy. To my crazy, I need to buy the game DirectM, but I have a plan to escape from Tarkov Steam Edition.
Titanfall 2
EA and Respawn were built on everything the first game did right and balanced the sequel’s multiplayer. There’s nothing like the juxtaposition of crunchy industrial mech brawls and agile pilot combat in Titanfall 2. As you can see in the campaign review for Titanfall 2, the solo part of this FPS also serves as both a great intro to the game’s mechanics and a compelling, self-contained story.
This campaign won’t outsize gameplay with epic set pieces or blockbuster bombs. Instead, the raw mechanism offers all the thrills. Running down the walls with groups of enemies and blowing them away with a satisfying explosion of shotguns, feeling exhilarating every time. Plus, as we saw in the Titanfall 2 PC port review, the PC version remains fantastic.
Titanfall 3 has no words, but Battle Royale Apex Legends in Respawn Entertainment is set in the same universe. Certainly, it no longer runs to the wall, but legendary weapons of Apex like Mozambique and Hemlock serve as nods worthy of this developer’s great past.
Black Mesa
Black Mesa is a remake of Half-Life 1, created entirely by fans using the latest source engine. It took 15 years for Black Mesa to reach its 1.0 release, but it finally happened in 2020 and was worth the wait. The Remake is a reimagined version of the classic single-player campaign, which eliminates dated puzzles and combat sequences to create a concise experience.
The developers have created their own extended version of the alien planet Xen, the final section of Half Life 1, reportedly cut short by the valve. If you haven’t experienced a half-life or want to see what you missed, I believe that Black Mesa is the best way to relive this classic FPS, and that Black Mesa is better than half-life. And more than anything, the black mesa update is still on display.
Left 4: 2 dead
The zombies in the valve are not like other zombies. In Dead 2 on the left 4, crash on you like a wave, raw the walls and jump over the gaps. They come with specials. The premise is to choose a character from the nine cast and use your team to replace you. Modes include flags, King of the Hill and payload captures. The latter sees the team driving bombs forward on the railroad tracks, and the opponent desperately tries to hold them down. This is a classic that has become the flagship mode of Overwatch, but was first perfectly refined with Team Fores 2.
evaluation
Riot’s hero shooter is very familiar to fans of CS: Go and Overwatch, but as explained in Valorant Review, it’s not a bad thing at all. Valorant is heading that path towards the front of a competitive FPS pack, and it’s not difficult to see why. There is a cast of brightly eyed heroes to choose from, each with some convenient and balanced abilities. The weapons and economic systems are directly from CS: GO – they call “AWP” the “OP”. This is almost the same word. He’s smart.
The match is intense and requires skill, accuracy and team adjustments. Like CS: GO, if your goal is tinsel, or if your response is looking for something rough, then you don’t have to compete with the adults who have played Dust 2 for at least the last 20 years. Valorant is not further focused on esports, so if you’re looking to the new competitive scene, I highly recommend it. Counter Strike 2
Some reviews, including the Counter-Strike 2 review, say CS2 was probably released a little earlier. Missing some features from CS: GO, GO, and experience is still a bit on the way, but if you’re looking for a tactical shooter, if you’re looking for a tactical shooter and it’s not going to work better than Counter-Strike 2.
