Former President Joe Biden praised President Donald Trump on October 13 for his efforts to broker a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, citing his administration’s efforts to end the war in Gaza.

“The road to this agreement was not easy. My administration worked relentlessly to bring the hostages home, provide relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war,” Biden said in a statement on X.
