Three actors listed for Hudson’s debut novel lollipop: Posey Starling ( screen Stars of Tomorrow (2023), Idil Ahmed, Tegan Mia Stanley Rose.

Ebada Hassan and Safiyah Inger, future stars of autumn debut brideboth are included in the list. So are the three Stroma Cairns actors. son and the sea: Stanley Bullock, Connor Tompkins, Jonah West.
Yasmin Finney, another screen Ronan Corrigan’s 2022 Star of Tomorrow also features on the list life hackalongside co-star Georgie Farmer. like in 2025 screen Star Jade Klute rabbit trap.
All shortlisted talents will be welcomed into Bifa and We Are Bridge’s Breakthrough Performers Programme. The program is a six-month development and support scheme that includes networking opportunities, as well as sessions on career development, wellbeing, casting and financial literacy.
The final five nominees for the Breakthrough Performance category will be announced on Monday 3 November, with the winner announced at a Bifa ceremony on Sunday 30 November at the Roundhouse venue in Camden, London.
Previous winners of Bifa’s Breakthrough Performance category include Vivian Opara, Naomi Ackie, Dev Patel, Ben Whishaw and Jamie Bell.
The shortlists for Bifa’s Newcomer, Short Film, Documentary, International and Maverick awards will be announced next week.
