WASHINGTON – A group of U.S. House members have launched a new effort to ban Congressional members from trading stocks in companies.

The “Congress in Congress Act Restoration Trust” is a bipartisan bill sponsored by Chip Roy (R-Texas) MP, which requires co-hosts of Senator Seth Magaziner (Dr.i.), members of Congress, their spouses, dependent children, and trustees to buy and sell individual stock, securities, obligations, or options. If you pass, you will need to sell from such instruments to your current member.
