What are VEX’s skills and abilities in Borderlands 4? Gearbox has released a lot of information on what to expect from the sirens in the upcoming Borderlands game, including her full skill tree, background, action skills, and capstone.

Vex is a siren in Borderlands 4 and is said to be creepy due to the necromancer’s skills and supernatural phase energy abilities. She is in harmony with the elemental types of current guns, so it’s worth checking out all Borderlands 4 Legendary Weapons as it converts to elemental damage types equipped with action skills and melee damage. She might eventually become one of the best characters in the FPS game.

Borderlands 4 VEX Build

Best Borderlands 4 VEX builds mainly depend on how you want to play. Vex is a ranger necromancer and focuses on the life support and skills of the movement. She’s completely different from what we saw from Borderlands’ previous sirens, but so far she looks like a beginner-friendly, versatile Vault Hunter with four Borderlands 4 characters.

Summoning Specters and Reapers, using pet trouble to distract you, or using Maul enemies, are great options for Solo Players.

Vex is preparing to attack with Borderlands 4, a sparkling purple colour.

Borderlands 4 VEX action skills

Here is a breakdown of the three action skills of VEX:

Dead Ringer: Charging Skill (3) – Creates a Phase Clone Minion and selects Spector or Reaper. A phase clone loses healthy amounts per second, and its damage type matches the current attunement (elemental type damage) of VEX on spawn. You can untie enemies, deal damage from melee attacks, deal gun damage, or lay a Grim Reaper who handles Specters that cannot move.

incarnation: Vex causes a phase explosion, causing damage to nearby enemies, and bringing her health back to full recovery. While active, Vex can use Eldritch Blast to increase travel speed. Eldritch Blast fires an explosion from her, damaging nearby enemies against impacts, and deals gun damage, reducing the cooldown of her abilities. You can complete this action skill early and partially refund your cooldown.

Stages of familiarity: Vex joins her minions, trouble. When killed, trouble will revive after a cooldown. Action Skill Buttons can teleport troubles and cause damage in the area. The trouble then transforms into badass, fully recovering health and increasing damage over time. Activation of the Phase Femme reaffirms the trouble if he is currently dead.

Borderlands 4 VEX Skill Tree

Each of the three action skills has a skill tree that is split into three different branches. So it’s worth checking which skills you’re aiming for. Each skill provides passive effects, or some enhancements will improve your action skills. At the end of each branch, awaits the capstone. A powerful ability to change or enhance action skills. Just like Augments, you can only equip one capstone at a time.

Borderlands 4 Fourth Seal Skill Tree

Fourth Seal (Dead Ringer)

This skill tree focuses on buffing you and the youkai and Reapers you summoned, such as gaining reload speed, increasing damage to status effects, replenishing health, and more.

  • Branch 1 Capstone – Heirloom: Spector gets a copy of the VEX’s currently equipped gun. Only one Specter can have a gun copied at a time, and by creating new youkai, you can remove any fun from the previous youkai.
  • Branch 2 Capstone – Grim Reaper: Continue to push the ability to lay a terrifying Grim Reaper that drains nearby enemies, dealing status effects damage over time, stealing the health of each drained enemy. If you die while the enemy is being ejected, a new Grim Reaper could be born.
  • Branch 3 Capstone – Dark Agreement: Vex is now equipped with two enhancements and can now acquire the ability to use dark agreements. While the minions are active, keep pushing and attacking abilities to fully restore health of all phase clones, increasing movement and attack speed. The topological clone does not lose health over time while this is active, and upon completion the loss of health is reset.

Borderlands 4 Vexcalation Skill Tree

vexcalation (incarnation)

Not for the weaker one, but this is a damage-focused skill tree, leaning towards lifestorl’s athletic ability and constant damage output, continuing to fight shield regeneration and buffs and original damage.

  • Branch 1 Capstone – Adventure: Phase explosions and erdrich blasts create danger and damage over time. Eldritch Blast is currently homing. If you hit an enemy in the air, it will burst after a delay, causing damage to other enemies.
  • Branch 2 Capstone – Heart Piercer: Eldritch Blast now sacrifices health, but it becomes sharp waves, enemies take damage and allies hit health health. Earn bonus damage and healing based on the health that has been sacrificed. Eldritch Blast no longer has a cooldown.
  • Brunch 3 Capstone – Vibe Check: Eldritch Blast is currently a rate skill and when activated, all rates will hit enemies and consume all charges to Ricochet. It bounces back at least once for each charge consumed.

Borderlands 4 Trouble Skill Tree Comes Here

This is where the trouble comes (something familiar)

A great support option, this skill tree focuses on summoning Trouble, Vex pets that can attack and distract enemies. You can add points to trouble skills and damage output. For example, you can give him tail whip or fantasy abilities, deal weapon damage, or double the damage to your gun.

  • Branch 1 Capstone – Trouble Bubble: Whenever he deals damage, trouble gets an overshield. Phase familiarity is active, but trouble will gain elemental auras and deal weapon damage over time to nearby enemies.
  • Branch 2 Capstone – Double Trouble: Trouble will get a chance to create an illusion near the enemy when dealing damage, and a critical hit will double that chance. The illusion becomes bad, but the familiarity of the phase becomes active.
  • Branch 3 Capstone – Unsealed: Trouble marks his current target and increases gun damage from the Vex. Kill Skill – When a marked enemy is killed, trouble will persist and earn unsealed stacks, acknowledging health regeneration and increased damage. The phase femme is active, but the unsealed effects are doubled and stacked.
